AMP Foundation – TV adverts and more {video + photos}

It’s now five years since I started producing videos for AMP Foundation’s Tomorrow Fund. I’ve met, photographed and shot footage of close to 100 winners – and it’s been a marvellous ride.

Recently the foundation decided to feature four winners in advertising across media nationwide. Lana Borg runs Mama Lana’s, a free meal service in Penrith, NSW; Kylie Harris is the founder of Midnight Feast, a theatre company that provides performance opportunities for actors with disabilities; Hunter Johnson co-founded The Man Cave, a non-profit that runs preventative and emotional intelligence programs for young males; and Robyn Leonard established Brain Cancer Biobanking Australia to provide researchers with the vital brain cancer tissue needed to find a cure.

I was honoured to be asked to shoot the video and stills. Shooting TV ads was a new and exciting experience for me. As was bumping into images of mine on electronic billboards at the airport. And I have no doubt that the ads themselves will mean terrific publicity for each winner’s cause.
